"Identity in Postcards" is a Typography Project created as a gift to preserve memories between me and my former colleagues. At the same time, the gift serves as my expression of gratitude to them for supporting and motivating me during our time working together.
Why "Identity in Postcards"?
Each postcard represents their profound impressions on me: from their unique personalities, their special items, to their legendary catchphrases.
*Thy Thy,
She can be serious and humorous as well.
Thus, I use both hard and soft typefaces to express the flexibility in her.
*Tiên,
Her TikTok account is studywith.tao with an apple on her avatar.
You guys guess, is it "táo" or "tao" in Vietnamese?
(This humorous way of naming her account also expresses her sense of humor).
*Sis Phương Anh,
These two taglines of the brands we worked with,
the signature coconut icon,
and the spontaneous lines of a poem,
make me unforgettable to her.
*Big Bro Albus,
He is not just an Art Director; he is also a HR.
*Big Bro Xiển Phạm,
He is an oldest member in our team (before Albus joined).
He is first 9x generation and he knows how to flirt with girls so well.
That's why this nickname was born. (j4f)
*Sáng,
His catchphrase "KHÔNG'' combined with raising hand gesture
when he has conflicting opinions in a discussion and he wants to express his opinion.
His signature icon used for people he hate (cannot be expressed in words) =)))
*Big Bro Nhân Trương,
Again, his iconic catchphrase and handsign.

*Big Bro Thành,
Our colleagues calls him "Thành serious".
But he is not serious, he is "sẻious".
*Big Bro Di Di,
He is a person who always has positive energy and brings it to everyone around him.
"Ở đâu cần niềm zui, tiếng cừi, để Di!"
He is always cheerful, with a sunny smile, loves nature, and he is "chuỵ."
So I think these colors in this postcard can fit him well.
*Hải,
Her friends created a nickname for her, "Biển bất tử".
This nickname absolutely represents her characteristic: not afraid of anything, just contanstly doing it.
So I made these words continuous to express this.
*Big Bro Bình Trần, and his curses =))))
(but actually he is a heart-warming person).
*Big Bro Khải Hoàng, and so many catchphrases of him =))))
"Hey gurl~" is his iconic greeting sentence when texting other girls.
The secret: he is a copy-based designer. His words may be viral someday, I guess.
